I went to get my truck looked at because of brake issues. The staff explained what could be causing the problem, and how they would fix it. They checked the brakes, made some adjustments, and gave the truck a test drive to make sure everything sounded good. I'm fairly knowledgeable about vehicles (replaced my own catalytic converter, starter, oil sending unit, battery and installed several after-market cosmetic pieces of hardware on my truck), and I can happily say the staff in this small-town business are friendly, they know what they're doing, and the mechanics are 100% honest.

Took my Subaru here a couple months ago. I really appreciated the level of communication. Their pricing was incredibly fair and they worked swiftly on my car. Great place. I recommend any Western Carolina student to take their vehicle here.

I was fortunate enough to find Dillsboro Automotive about a year ago. I've taken vehicles there a few times, and Darren and his crew always do great work at an affordable price. Most recently (Feb. 2016), I had a vehicle towed in that had not ran in almost 3 years. After replacing the fuel pump (myself) and still no crank, I had all but given up on it. They traced it down, determined it was a faulty connection in the fuse box and replaced it. Now she runs like a dream again. If you're looking for a dependable and knowledgeable mechanic with integrity, look no further. These guys are top-notch! Highly recommend them for all your service needs.

I was informed by another mechanic that my car needed a repair that would cost over $1000. The team at Dillsboro Automotive found the real source of the problem, and will be able to fix it for a total of $160. I am so grateful!

Dillsboro Automotive is great! He came to our rescue when our car stopped on us, gave us a ride and towed our car to the shop for us. That means a lot when someone takes time out of there busy schedule to help. Darrin and his crew do a great job and reasonable priced they come highly recommended.

I used them for some routine maintenance on my truck, but also asked for an estimate on some brake work coming up. The service was fast and done right. The estimate was thoroughly explained in detail, and clearly more honest than other shops who tried to rush me into repair or sell me what I don't need. Also, friendly folks and one of the cleanest auto shops I've ever seen - highly recommend!
