We needed a diagnosis of a noise sounding like a bearing whine. We called Dillsboro Automotive on Monday afternoon and then took our 2015 Subaru in on Tuesday morning. Their facilities are clean and well organized, with certifications for their mechanics prominently displayed. Everything, from the shop, to the front office, to the spotless restroom proclaimed "Professionalism". My second thought (after, "these guys are Sharp!") was, "This is going to cost me a pretty penny!". Their diagnosis confirmed my suspicion that the transmission was the source of the bearing whine. They also did a comprehensive, 96 point check of our entire car. Total cost was VERY reasonable! Much, much less than the Subaru dealer in Asheville quoted for a diagnosis. If {when) we have Dillsboro Automotive replace our transmission, I will post a follow-up review.

Everything about dealing with Dillsboro Automotive was fantastic. They have a really super efficient way of doing business and I really appreciate there concern for their customers. My vehicle had an alignment and inspection. They were very thorough and precise. They keep you very well informed. In the office they have the coolest counter made of resin with all kinds of tools and circuit boards infused it is a work of art ! I forgot the sweet young lady at the desk name but she is a Gem💎. I needed an alignment as the tire shop I used for installation of new tires was not able to provide an alignment. They got me in quickly and same day as tire install. They worked on my vehicle in a timely manner as the job required, the receptionist is very personable and friendly, and Sox the cat was so cuddly while I waited! The waiting area was neat and comfortable with an attached restroom for convenience. My car drove great on the way back home and the price was really reasonable. One of the best experiences I have had ever at an auto shop of any kind. Thank you Dillsboro Automotive!

I recently began to experience a vibration while driving my Subaru on the Highway. I brought it into Dillsboro Automotive. They did a safety check of the entire vehicle and diagnosed the problem. They provided an estimate for the repairs and began work the next day. By the third day the repairs were complete and I was back on the road. They are reliable, professional and quick. Only place in area that does road force tire balancing. Glad I found them! Replaced my 22 inch factory wheels with a wider stance 24 inch wheel and tire setup. They look great and ride excellent! Awesome job Dillsboro Automotive!!!😍 It's so tough to find a group that can balance wheels and tires that are larger than 18 inches in this area and not have problems with the way it drives.
