My son attends WCU and about six months ago, I had to have his truck towed for some repairs. I didn't know any mechanics in the area and found Dillsboro Automotive through Google. I went to get my truck looked at because of brake issues. The staff explained what could be causing the problem, and how they would fix it. They checked the brakes, made some adjustments, and gave the truck a test drive to make sure everything sounded good. I'm fairly knowledgeable about vehicles (replaced my own catalytic converter, starter, oil sending unit, battery and installed several after-market cosmetic pieces of hardware on my truck), and I can happily say the staff in this small-town business are friendly, they know what they're doing, and the mechanics are 100% honest.

I was fortunate enough to find Dillsboro Automotive about a year ago. I've taken vehicles there a few times, and Darren and his crew always do great work at an affordable price. Most recently (Feb. 2016), I had a vehicle towed in that had not ran in almost 3 years. After replacing the fuel pump (myself) and still no crank, I had all but given up on it. They traced it down, determined it was a faulty connection in the fuse box and replaced it. Now she runs like a dream again. If you're looking for a dependable and knowledgeable mechanic with integrity, look no further. These guys are top-notch! Highly recommend them for all your service needs.
