I used them for some routine maintenance on my truck, but also asked for an estimate on some brake work coming up. The service was fast and done right. The estimate was thoroughly explained in detail, and clearly more honest than other shops who tried to rush me into repair or sell me what I don't need. Also, friendly folks and one of the cleanest auto shops I've ever seen - highly recommend!

Visiting from out of state. My Honda was making a scraping sound like a train going by at low speed. Pulled into Dillsboro Automotive and the owner took it for a spin, put it up on the rack, and pulled out a small piece of gravel that was lodged up in the wheel somewhere. Didn't charge me anything. So helpful and honest. Spread the word!!

Our family car had some problems in December as we were traveling to my inlaws in NC. My father in law pointed us to Dillsboro Automotive. The staff were very friendly and helpful, a nice clean shop and great work at a fair price. I wish I could find a shop like this at home!

Hi everyone- Around mid-August 2012 my '97 Honda died at my place of work, so I called googled 'auto repair' in my area and saw Dillsboro Automotive. I hadn't heard of them before, but I looked at these reviews and called Rita, who was very nice and informative. She recommended a tow truck, and also arranged to pay the tow truck driver so that the charge could be added to my bill when the car was fixed. The car was indeed fixed the next day (it needed a new starter) at a reasonable price. It was a prompt, positive interaction, and isn't that what we're all looking for?

Honest and fair! My subaru died on the job site after 250,000 miles. These guys recommended a tow service and tho it was a busy Friday, got us in. The fuse link was replaced quickly and the total bill was very reasonable. No overcharging for things that were unnecessary. We will probably make them our primary mechanic though we live 2 towns over. Nice, fast, honest and they got the job done correctly!
